What is the arrow method? How can we understand the physics of tumbling from an early age?


Feet as the Base of the Arrow:

  • In tumbling, the feet serve as the foundation of the movement, much like the base of an arrow. They generate the initial power and momentum needed to propel the body.

  • From a physics perspective, the force exerted by the feet against the ground creates an equal and opposite reaction, propelling the body through the air. This force is crucial for achieving height and distance in tumbling skills.


Hips as the Middle of the Arrow:
